This study is now in the final stages of data collection. For all participants who have completed Parts 1 and 2 you will have until the 14th of June to complete Part 3. We would like to thank all those who have participated so far.
The pilot study covers two important topics:
How does having a child with Rett syndrome change your employment options/choices?
What are the effects on your quality of life?
This research can help clarify what support you need from governments and service providers.
Are life styles and the environment impacting on our health outcomes?
Occupational practices have been linked to some health outcomes. Could this be the case with Rett?
By providing your work history you are giving researchers the chance to look for patterns that might help us answer these questions.
Biological parents of a child or children with Rett syndrome who live in an English speaking country.
This New Pilot Study is part of the ongoing InterRett project.
If you are new to this site and would like to participate in either the New Pilot Study or the ongoing InterRett project please let us know.
